Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide the student to gain the knowledge and skills performing basic nursing skills with certain principles and methods for healthy/sick individuals.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • collect healthy / sick individual's data according to a nursing model.
  • provide care of healthy / sick individual by using the nursing process with a holistic approach.
  • apply basic nursing skills with certain principles and methods.
  • provide care for the basic needs of the individual (breathing, movement, nutrition, excretion, etc.).
  • use effective communication skills in the care of healthy / sick individual.
  • work in cooperation with the team in application areas.
Course Description This course covers primarily laboratory and then clinical application of basic nursing skills.
