Course Objectives | At the end of this course students; understand the importance of doing scientific research in the nursing profession, do basic statistical analyzes, evaluate critically research is intended to know the basic concepts and methods in epidemiology. |

Course Description | This course; importance of research in nursing, research and ethics, steps of the research process, research designs, validity and reliability of measurement tools, critical evaluation of quantitative research report, basic statistical concepts, research data entry, presentation and summarizing data, statistics and probability, hypothesis testing, definition of epidemiology, Its principles cover the criteria used in epidemiology, the concept of causality, population and population problems, notification and surveillance, epidemiological research and presentation of health information. |
