Beliz Açkın 2022 Nursing Graduate

Choosing the right university is the cornerstone that significantly shapes the future of every student. I also used this choice for Izmir University of Economics (IUE) with full scholarship in 2018. I graduated in 2022 with the titles of top student in the nursing department and high honor student. During my undergraduate education, I had the opportunity to participate in scientific events such as many seminars and congresses, where I could improve myself, and to make presentations from some of these events, in addition to the quality education I received with the support of IUE’s expert and student-friendly professors. I was entitled to receive the success scholarship given by the University. By performing an internship at IUE Medical Point Hospital affiliated to Izmir University of Economics, I felt ready for professional life. I also assumed the role of IUE representative of the Student Nurses Association (OHDER). Currently, I am the vice chair of OHDER's supervisory board. During my undergraduate education, I completed my education with the valuable contributions of both our school and professors. Currently, I am doing my master's degree in Internal Medicine Nursing at Izmir Katip Çelebi University and I am in the thesis stage. I understand even better now that I made the right choice back then.
