| Course Objectives | This course aims to teach the ethical problems students may encounter in their professional lives and the ways to solve these problems. Increasing awareness of patient safety, identifying risk factors, legal dimension of patient safety and root cause analysis skills are taught. |

| Course Description | This course covers the basic human and patient rights, legal responsibilities of healthcare professionals, ethical problems and solutions, risky and priority areas in patient safety, communication and teamwork, medical errors, root cause analysis, employee health, ethical and legal aspects in patient safety. |
