Course Objectives The course aims to develop students’ competency in spoken English on health topics through reading, writing and listening to health-related texts.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • use the medical terminologies and expressions required to perform clinical duties in both written and spoken forms,
  • perform a patient interview,
  • use appropriate tone and style in a variety of written and spoken communications with other healthcare professionals,
  • express the principles of professional ethics to manage different contextualized situations,
  • follow interactions in group discussions on health issues.
Course Description This course is designed to prepare students to apply their communication skills to interact in real life situations in English.
